The Product:

Mainstage is a modular stage system built of plywood with each deck finished to a dance-grade surface. The decks are painted a satin black, suitable for theatre application. Standard deck sizes are 4’x4’, 4’x8’ and 2’x8’. Stages built with Mainstage are built at 6” increments of height - each deck is 6” high and then leg cubes of 6”, 12”, and 18” are used to achieve the desired height. The modular nature of the system easily accommodates multi-level stages or unique configurations and with the addition of a selection of custom pieces, we also offer hexes, curved edges and forked runways.

Installation is extremely fast and efficient, making it a great stage choice for time sensitive production schedules. Each stage includes black fabric skirting, taped seams, a set(s) of stairs and full installation.

Options include wheelchair ramps, guard railings or chair rails.

Application:

The high quality of the finish makes it perfect for media and corporate events however, it’s just as suitable for festivals and community functions. Being modular, it has the versatility to be used for anything from small, single decks for camera risers to large concert stages. It also makes a great choir riser. Mainstage is best suited for use indoors, either inside a building or under a tent. Although possible to level, it’s not designed for use on sloping ground requiring extensive shimming or custom leg heights.
